Video Poker is a marriage of sorts, between slot machines and traditional poker. This means that instead of playing against a dealer, you play against a machine.

Although similar to slot machines in many ways, Video Poker requires an element of skill. Players can make decisions that will have an effect on the outcome of their game. The cards must be dealt randomly from a 52 card deck meaning that possible combinations and the frequency of these combinations can be calculated.

When you find the video poker machine you want to play at then you will need to choose from the poker games available to play. As a standard, most of them offer Jacks or better, Deuces wild, Double bonus poker, Double aces and faces, joker poker, and multi-hand poker.

And from then onwards playing video poker is about as simple as it could be. You will be dealt cards at random by the machines and from those cards you try to make the best poker hand possible by holding cards and pressing deal to finish the hand.

In all video poker games you can bet 1 through to 5 credits. From there onwards you can win, or lose, more credits depending on how good your hand is.
