A Turbo event is one in which the blind levels increase much faster than usual.
The length of each round before the blinds / antes increase will usually be around 5 minutes as opposed to 10 or 15 in standard rounds.
- 2 X and 3 X Turbo: This is a special Turbo Rebuy event where the blind levels increase much faster than in standard play but the Rebuy time is twice (or three times depending on whether it is 2 X or 3 X) as long as it would be in a normal turbo round. On certain online poker rooms these are usually played as a Satellite.
