Sit & Go’s are often referred to as an S&G or SNG. It’s a tournament which does not have a pre-assigned start time and instead begins when all the seats are filled. Sit & Go’s can range in size from heads-up to 360 players and come in both a cash tournament and a satellite form.
- Double Or Nothing: This is a types of Sit & Go tournament where half the players who enter win double the buy-in. For example if 10 players took part in a $10 tournament then the top 5 finishers would win $20. The rest of players win nothing. A Double Or Nothing tournament would end when the prizes are reached with all winners tying for first place and because of this a Double Or Nothing tournament will not affect any tournament leader boards.
- Steps: This is a special types of ‘tiered’ Sit & Go tournament where players can turn a small investment into something much larger by working their way up through different stages. Sometimes you can gain entry to this kind of Sit & Go’s using frequent player points or they will have a very small buy in.
