A Rebuy Tournament is available at online poker websites where players must use ‘chips’.
In a Rebuy Tournament player has the opportunity to buy more chips during the event. In other tournaments, when a player runs out of chips then they are eliminated from the tournament, but in a Rebuy the player is allowed to buy more chips.
There are usually certain rules surrounding a Rebuy, for example the online poker website will have a ‘Rebuy Period’ at the beginning of the tournament and once that period is over there are no more Rebuys.
Sometimes there is also a fixed number of Rebuys available but other tournaments will allow unlimited Rebuys.
