The game of Five Card Mulligan Poker is fairly simple. It’s Five-card straight poker.

When previously playing poker you have probably wished you could start over, get another chance at it. Well, Five Card Mulligan Poker gives players that second chance.

There are three types of bets involved in the game of Mulligan Poker. They are as follows;

- The Ante bet, the first initial bet. After placing this, the hand can begin.
- The Bonus bet. The bonus paytable will be more rewarding than the Ante paytable but a Bonus bet will only be paid out on the first hand a player is dealt. If a player decides to take a Mulligan, then his Bonus bet is forfeited.
- The third bet is a Raise. This is paid in order to receive a Mulligam redraw and it is equal to the Ante bet.

To begin play, both the dealer and the player are each dealt five cards. The player then has the choice to either keep the hand they were dealt and play them or to “take a mulligan” and receive five new cards. The only catch with this is that players cannot choose certain cards to discard and certain cards to keep. It’s an all or none proposition.

If a player decides on taking a Mulligan, then they are also required to place an additional “Raise” bet which will be the same size as their original bet.

The dealer will now turn over his hand. From here onwards there are a set of rules that will govern the dealer’s actions. If his hand is Ace High or better, he will stand. If his hand is King High or less he gets to take a Mulligan himself.
To end the game, the dealer’s hand and the player’s hand are compared. Bets are either paid out or collected according to a pay table that will be posted on the screen of the online casino you have chosen to play at.
