
This Sunday the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) launched with 27,305 poker and rakeback poker players registering for the first event. PokerStars have also launched a special reload bonus for the duration of the series.
Players who reload their poker account at PokerStars before 23.59 ET on May 10th will receive 20% of the value of their deposit as a pending bonus. At the mid-level $215 tournament 6,783 players competed ensuring a first prize of $203,493 and a total prize pool of $1,356,600. The high stakes $2,100 tournament ensured a total prize pool of over $1.5m.
SCOOP will continue until the final two day event starting on May 16th and players can earn their seats by any of the PokerStars satellites from as little as 10 FPPs or for under $1.
