Top Poker babe, Lacey Jones, has been announced as the new face of the Canadian Poker Tour. This will no doubt bring a bit of glamour to the CPT and some extra publicity as Jones, voted hottest poker girl, will be a cover girl of Canadian Poker Player Magazine which will also include a pictorial spread and featured article in the publication.

The President of the Canadian Poker Tour, Kelly Kellner, told Lacey she had been claimed by Canada and the CPT. Kellner believes that the partnership with Lacey is strong and will only get stronger as Lacey will be attending the CPT events and she plans on moving to Vancouver

Lacey Jones signed up as part of the Absolute Poker Team in 2009 and since has been a positive role model for women in poker.

The CPT is looking to get more female players to their events as females have been in decline at the tournaments over the past two years. They believe Lacey will be a draw for women to compete in the events as well as help grow their player base.

Lacey commented that she truly loves Canadians and that she is happy to be part of the Canadian Poker Tour. Lacey will be participating in the Winter Freezeout which will take place at Cash Casino in Calgary on February 24th to the 28th and she will also be featured on the new online poker television network Canadian Poker Player Television which is being launched by the CPT.
