The biggest FTOPS event ever has now finished with the only the Main Event XIX title left to play for and this will finish later today. Full Tilt rakeback players have performed well in this series pulling in some big scores as some huge numbers took to the tables. This Full Tilt Poker series was the first to feature multi-entry tournaments and because of that the Main Event participation record was almost tripled as nearly 14,500 turned up.
Main Event XIX:
14,479 total entries eclipsing the previous record of 5,645
$8,687,400 is the total prize pool smashing the previous record of $2,822,500
$1,326,044.74 is the prize for finishing first
$900k – well just a shade under $900k will be awarded to the second place finisher.
Currently leading the standings for Player of the Series is professional poker player Paul Volpe form Philadelphia who already has four final tables to his name including a fourth place in FTOPS Event #19 (2-Day) for $108,800.00. Volpe was on fire coming into FTOPS XIX after winning the $215 buy in Sunday Million for $250k on January 23rd.
Another player enjoying this year’s FTOPS XIX is Huck Seed who is currently sitting in 15th place and is the highest placed Full Tilt pro on the list. USCphildo or Phil Collins is currently in 5th place on the standings and is probably one of the last players that can catch Volpe at the top.
FTOPS XIX may be drawing to a close but there is plenty more going on at Full Tilt Poker with promotions galore including WPT qualifiers, the Big Little tournament every month and loads from us here at PokerRakeback.
